Paris

I have never been to Paris, would certainly love to go one day. The first thing that comes to mind when you think about Paris is the Eiffel Tower. Over a period of time it has become a symbol of love and freedom. Probably the reason why the peace symbol created by artist Jean Jullien went viral. 13th November 2015 was a sad day, innocent people died and the inhumane rejoiced. I felt disheartened and this painting was my form of prayer for the death. As I didn't have a picture of Eiffel Tower to emulate, I looked for inspiration on the web and found one on etsy, art by Jessica Durrant https://goo.gl/dXZ3eX

  1. It's a beautiful tribute and gesture, Lele.
I love this painting because it's beautiful and even more so because of the underlying thought. Definitely one of my favourites.
